Halle Day

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

The children all came off timetable on Friday to celebrate Halle Day and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities. The children challenged themselves on an obstacle course, had football coaching from Everton in the Community, Active Sefton organised Dodge Ball games while they also did some mindfulness activities in class.

As a school we celebrate Halle Day annually when we remember Halle Fletcher, a former pupil, who sadly died a number of years ago. Each year we hold a Health and Well-Being Day in her memory when we look to raise money for a Charity nominated by the Fletcher family. This year all the money raised will be donated in Halle`s name to the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital.
